Project Dunnigan

  • Designer: Sheena Location: Cambridge, Ontario

This project is a masterclass in modern elegance, where consistency in material choices creates a truly elevated, custom-home feel. Throughout the house, we leaned into a palette of refined neutrals and premium textures, anchored by the Contempo door style in rift-cut white oak, finished in the warm and sophisticated Macadamia stain. This finish became the star of the home, offering both natural beauty and a sense of luxury, thanks to the depth and richness of the oak grain.

To balance the warmth of the wood, we introduced some other lighter cabinet colours in different rooms of the home for a subtle contrast, while keeping the overall look calm, cohesive, and timeless. Finger pulls were carried through most of the spaces, creating a sleek and understated detail that allowed the cabinetry’s clean lines and materials to shine.

Every room in this home feels connected yet unique, with thoughtful variations in finish and layout giving each space its own character. The result is a home that feels luxurious, intentional, and beautifully cohesive from start to finish.

Luxury meets everyday living

This project was designed with the small details in mind, offering premium upgrades and smart storage solutions at every turn. The all–white oak kitchen serves as the heart of the home, featuring Contempo doors, sleek finger pulls, a 10-foot island, a bar area, and a panel-ready fridge — the definition of minimal sophistication.

Beyond the kitchen, the same elevated approach continues throughout the home. Most custom vanities were equipped with space-saver drawers to maximize every inch, while the ensuite includes a lowered makeup desk for added comfort and functionality.
